ABOUT ASSEV NIGERIA

The Creative industry in Nigeria has evolved tremendously over the years, and as a result, professionals of various service categories related to the event scene have also emerged. In a bid to ensure proper synergy amongst event professionals within the industry, the Association of Event Vendors Nigeria was created.

Beyond fostering a cordial relationship amongst event professionals, ASSEV seeks to lend a voice for the voiceless and promote ethical business values between its members and prospective clients. More importantly, there is huge advantage in being part of a network of like minds as a whole lot stands to be gained when not in isolation. We have been together for 11 years, since 2013.

ASSEV is a unique community focused on uniting all aspects of event management. This helps our members to collaborate and share ideas at the highest level in delivering remarkable services to clients.

Once regarded as a forum and there after metamorphosed into a bigger body, the Association of Event Vendors Nigeria was therefore incorporated as a legal entity on the 5th of January, 2016.

OUR MISSION: ASSEV seeks to proffer standards and regulate activities of Event Service providers as well as promote ethical business operations in the Industry.

                                                                        HOW IT STARTED                                                                                  Association of Event Vendors Nigeria (ASSEV)

Sometimes late 2012,some group of friends (events related) came together with the intention of disseminating information regarding events industry.                                                                                                                                                                                                              Their sole aim was to 

i. bring every events planners together for a fast information

ìí. Introduce trending items and procurement process 

iii. Teach and guide where necessary. 

iv. Easy accessing items among members in the case of leaving your location to another far end of state. 

v. Price regulations of items among members of the group.

vi. Having an expo/showcasing of current items where we can buy/sell new items among our members.

vi. Roll out future investment scheme for members (which my later be used for land and building, bus or car  procurement)

vii. Health issuance packages etc. 

These later,metamorphosised into bringing other vendors among us which then triggered the group to switch name from then EPF (EVENT PLANNERS FORUM TO ASSEV, ASSOCIATION OF EVENTS VENDORS NIGERIA. 

With as many vendors among us, our intention was to maintained job in the circle. Never outsource vendors outside the circle except otherwise. 

These worked so well for us and it quickly project the group beyond our expectations. 

In the short period of time, we were able to capture as much members as possible across the states in Nigeria and beyond.
